I am writing this as we drive back to Heavener from Tulsa. We had an appto this morning with the oncologist to review Dustin's PET scan and bone marrow biopsey from last week. His bone marrow biopsy was normal (YEAH!!!) but he lit up like a Christmas tree on PET scan... What that means is there is cancer somewhere we just have to find it. He has numerous lymph nodes and a spot on his pelvis and on his spine. His oncologist wants him to have a port placed and removal of a lymph node from his neck. He sent us to a surgeon... Whom we saw this afternoon... He did a sono of his neck...then scheduled him for surgery tomorrow morning!!! We have to be back at the hospital tomorrow morning at 530am!!! Yep that means leaving the house at 3am!!! Will update tomorrow.
